NASA University Student Launch

NASA’s Student Launch Competition is an initiative that aims to challenge students to develop and manufacture a rocket with

novel payload designs, which VADL will be participating in for the 2023-24 academic year. The team will deliver a human-rated independent lander that will contain and safely descend the four STEMnauts to the ground upon jettison as per NASA’s requirements. The mission will be satisfied by integrating robust subsystems and ensuring redundancy. This year’s design project serves as a unique and novel challenge for VADL.
